Emily Hertz and David Pellegrini's Outspoken won the $2,500 USHJA National Hunter Derby, presented by Tucci.  Presenting the awards (l-r) Davide Canesso and Christopher Feralez of Tucci and Lisa Engel of the Gulf Coast Classic Company.

 

"I love the new Kruse Cushion Ride footing. I feel the horses really travel across it well and don't get bogged down," commented Hertz, "and they all seem to perform well in it," she added.

 

High  Marks in Competition

 

Hunter Riders were treated to fabulous footing, thanks to Diamond Level Sponsors, Kruse Cushion Ride.  Friday was a double-header hunter day in the Main Hunter Arena. The new Kruse Cushion Ride footing [KCR] had many horses galloping through it all day!

 

 

Course Designer Loves KCR

 

Tucci representative, Christopher Feralez awards Tim Maddrix a Tucci embroidered saddle pad along with the cash and prizes for his win in the $2,500 National Hunter Derby, presented by Tucci.

 

The $2,500 USHJA National Hunter Derby, presented by Tucci saw fifteen horse and rider combinations compete in the main hunter ring and experience the newly installed Kruse Cushion Ride surface.

"The footing is excellent," commented course designer, Nancy Wallis. "We've been hearing nothing but how excellent the new KCR footing is and how well the horses are performing with the new surface," commented Gulf Coast Winter Classic Coordinator, Janet McCarroll.
